Are we being sheeple? It seems like we have forgotten the Preamble to the Constitution.

“We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

The Preamble of the U.S. Constitution introduces everything that is to follow in the Constitution’s seven articles and twenty-seven amendments.  The Constitution serves as the single authoritative written text to serve as the fundamental law of the land.

To paraphrase someone “The Preamble declares who is enacting the Constitution. It is the enactment of all U.S. citizens. The people own the Constitution, not he government or any other branch of government.

The purposes listed in the Preamble was to create a government that will meet the needs of all people.

It seems that at the present, some politicians have forgotten what they pledged their allegiance to the Constitution when they took office. They are making interpretations that only seem to apply to certain groups of people, not all the people. 

The Preamble should be rewritten as follows:

“We the sheeple of the United States, in order to form a more perfect society, establish injustice, insure white domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense of our way of life, promote getting rid of welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and all others like us, to ordain and establish this Constitution for the Authoritarian States of America.”

Yep, that’s about right. We need to quit being sheeple.
